1002688_10202643563702954_691158514790283472_nTara!!! For the first time I got participated in legislative election in Melbourne, lucky me. J The election was held in Consulate General of Republic of Indonesia in Melbourne (72 Queens Road). It was conducted on April 5th 2014, earlier than in Indonesia. In Perth, my friend said it was held on April 6th 2014.

Tara!!!

Getting participated in the legislative election was very easy. You just need to visit website www.pplnmelbourne.com.au, register online, and wait for an invitation mail comes to your house. The invitation has to be shown with national identity/passport in the election day. Easy right?

So here we go…

Mari kita mulai…

The election took place in a big white tent. I came in a small chamber then I showed the officers my invitation and my national identity. After that, time to choose, fellas!

Purple ink on my pinkie! It indicates that I have used my right to choose in the election. So glad to experience it abroad. Oh there was also Indonesian food bazaar outside the tent! I completely felt like in my lovely home country. Hihi…
